??? Love, laughter, and learning were in the air today at Georgia Park Elementary as students celebrated Valentine's Day! Ms. Buller's class took a body break with a little dance party with some of their favourite characters. ?? Students in Ms. Savery's class were busy crafting giant valentines, filling them with their own creative designs and meanwhile in Ms. Stricker's class were spreading kindness by handing out valentines and tackling a themed word search. ?? Ms. Anderson's class was focused on a writing lesson, practicing spelling "heart" words —those tricky words you just have to know by heart—like "friend" and "because." ???? And, with the sun shining, some classes took their learning beyond the classroom! A few classes spent the day enjoying the snow at Mount Washington, while others laced up their skates for a fun-filled session at Strathcona Gardens. Whether in the classroom or out on an adventure, students filled the day with joy, creativity, and connection —just what Valentine’s Day is all about! ???
