Interested in studying abroad or having an exchange abroad?
Campbell River School District International Student Programs is excited to partner with organizations abroad to offer Campbell River high school students an opportunity to live and study in another country. Please see below for current exchange opportunities or information about studying abroad. These exchange opportunities are open to all high school students in Campbell River. Exchange participants must be 14 by the time of the exchange. For more information, please contact us at international@sd72.bc.ca.
France Exchange 2025
Campbell River International Student Program has partnered with the Association Nantes Pays de Langue Anglais (NPLA) to offer French Immersion students and students who are keen to broaden their French language, the opportunity to participate in a reciprocal exchange with a student from the northwestern region of France near the Atlantic ocean.
- Summer France Exchange: July - August 2025 (reciprocal exchange)
- School France Exchange: April - June 2025 (reciprocal exchange - open to French Immersion students only)
Applications are due Monday, December 9, 2024.
Want to learn more? Come to our France exchange info session on Thursday, November 14 at 6 p.m. at the school board office (425 Pinecrest Road, Campbell River).
Japan Exchange 2025
Campbell River International Student Program has a partnership with Ishikari City, Japan to offer students a cultural and academic school exchange.
- School Ishikari Japan Exchange: 3 months or 10 months. Dates to be confirmed.
