Host a short term student from Japan! September 21st - 29th, 2024
A short-term group of 14 students from Japan will visit Campbell River from Saturday, September 21st to Sunday, September 29th, 2024. Host one of these students in your home for 8 nights! This is a great opportunity to meet a student from Japan and show them about life in Campbell River. Students will attend Timberline Secondary from Monday - Friday. The weekend will be spent with you and your family enjoying our local area. On Friday evening all host families are invited to a Friendship Party hosted by the students from Japan.
Host Families will be remunerated $65/night.
Hosts Provide:
- care and connection
- 3 meals a day plus snacks
- transportation to and from Timberline (can be walking or bus distance but more guidance is needed than our longer-term students)
- private bedroom
