What is it that we do for your child?
Youth care workers act as advocates for students and families to meet various needs or who would like additional support with social and emotional concerns. We assist in providing connections to outside resources for students in need of counselling and health care, support students to access basic needs and supplies (school supplies, clothing. food, toiletries, bus passes etc), assist with crisis intervention, offer support and tools for anxiety and stress, among a variety of other tasks! If you have a question about community supports, be it family or school or post secondary, we are happy to help you figure it out!
